Couldn't agree more. I received a fairly average result from the HSC – ended up doing my own thing for a few years, went to TAFE, ended up at uni later on and will be handing in my PhD thesis _tomorrow_! There are many, many paths that don't require top results out of high school.

The Ticketek site seemed to be playing up a little, but managed to get GA tickets after a few attempts. Maybe they've got the same IT people as the Bureau of Statistics?

You're welcome to one (or two or three) of mine. I emailed the Membership Team who apologised and told me that the system had me down as a 3 year member this year (instead of last year). I get the feeling they're doing a pretty good job over there; running the ship on the smell of an oily rag.
