I reckon Atken would be a good buy. Very solid defender and someone who plays it hard. Just what we need. I’d be happy for him to play centre.

I see Euan Atkin is to be released from his Warriors contract. Sited family reasons for not wanting to go to NZ when the Warriors relocate later in the year. I always thought he was a good player when with the Saints.

I would agree, Super and buying some income producing assets is the best way to go. Shares will give you dividend income in retirement and if they are fully franked, you will get a tax refund.

I agree, that if he can replicate Wighton's game, he could be what we are looking for. If he can poke his nose through the line and offload, he could be explosive in the position.

Has AD got the skill set to play 5/8? He is a big body, not overly fast and not overly quick on his feet. He will need a kicking game, as I don't think Brookes has a particularly good one. I can't really see another position for him though.
