    Tallyn Da Silva #270

Would be happy to get Walters (or even Simpson at a pinch) to provide a backup for Api. I was a little disappointed that TDS left but he reminds me a bit of Liddle who took a long time to develop but lacks the craft of a top class dummy half and is a little one dimensional in his game.

Moses has a short memory. Some of the things he did when he was 20 at Wests Tigers was way more infuriating than what Talyn did today. True leader would have handled things quite differently.

“I want to get through this season in whatever position I play and then have a real good chat with Benji about where he sees me in 2026,’’ Doueihi said. Benji replies - Here is 300 hours of Isiah Yeo footage. Watch, take notes and come and talk to me

Interesting thoughts regarding that AD only plays for contracts. My personal opinion is that you see the best of AD is when he is the main man and has the opportunity to play as a half and direct the play. I think he doesn’t enjoy being in the centres as has to wait for the ball and his options...

I watched Mavrik closely when he played Wests in KOE. Had a weird feeling he could be on our radar - as an attacking threat he was quite difficult to handle, always made metres against us and defence was solid. I am thinking this may be a bit better than what peeps are expecting.

Reading between the lines, I think there has been a fair amount of conversation. Richo’s comments seem more in exasperation than encouraging (paraphrasing we’ve upped his offer to two years he can take it or leave it). I get the feeling that while he wants to stay, there may be still a bit of a...

    Latu Fainu #282

I think he needs a full pre-season there. Also I thought he preferred the left which is Luai’s side. It hasn’t helped that we needed to change much of our attack when Galvin left. Happy for him to get confidence and just play consistent footy this stage.

OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

I was at ground level and even the Dogs supporters were saying that he looked scared. We couldn’t see a time where he actively engaged the line and put his body on the line.

Was at the ground - clearly best on field. He is key to the rebuild.

TEAM LIST Round 22 vs Bulldogs

I think we have also missed Bula chasing the high kicks and putting pressure on their fullback. I think Bula is more effective in the air than Tracey and would look to execute that move regularly. Galvin gets pushed back in defence most of the time. He is very fit and I don’t think we can tire...

LIVE GAME Round 21 versus Panthers

You’re right. I don’t get it that every 4th tackle goes to Turuva (I imagine it’s for a quick play the ball to set for the kick) but it effectively burns a tackle and the defence are looking for him and mark him easily. We actually look better when we occasionally shift the ball and take the...

    Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

I don’t mind the structure of this but would probably currently lean towards Tatteo instead of Hunt and Murray at 14. He is serviceable at DH and is a good defender. In my opinion, Mason should develop his game in lower grades at the moment.

I think he is ready and would honestly have him ahead of Hunt but is a middle forward and not a direct swap for either Seyfarth or Bird.

LIVE GAME Round 21 versus Panthers

I think we can compete skill wise with the top sides. It’s not a matter of capability but more of capacity. We did it for 20 minutes (each half) but fell away when our resilience was tested, firstly with some calls that didn’t go our way (set restarts) and in the second half we became fatigued...

LIVE GAME Round 21 versus Panthers

Latu looks totally lost on the right side. No attacking flair but defensively sound. We are easy to read with only having a single side for for attack. Saw him in the sideline towards the end so was obviously replaced

LIVE GAME Round 21 versus Panthers

Penrith roll the ball and “attempt” to touch the ball in the ruck but never do - gives them a fast play the ball each time.

I have watched him in KoE. He is a handful at that level. Consistently make metres and has good PCMs. Reminds me a bit of Sione Faunu in that he is both athletic and strong. A good pick up as he will add much needed depth to our middles.

OFFICIAL Pathways - KOE General Discussion

While we didn’t get the run of the green I terms of decisions, we looked gassed by the end. Royce was better this week and Taateo looks a prospect. El-Zakhem was strong and more controlled with his offloads. Jock Madden looks like an upgrade from Kurt Falls who doesn’t really add much in terms...
