    Wake me up

Did any non-Dragons fan enjoy watching them get handed the premiership? Who was entertained? Once again, rugby league is the loser thanks to abysmal and inconsistent adjuticating - on both sides of the park. This grand final did nothing for the game and nothing for convincing non-rugby league...

    Robert Lui Incident/Contract Thread

Hugely, hugely disappointing. I hope by some miracle this is all worked out and we can get back to talking and enjoying the football.

    Game day is here!

    Exactly the same here.

    Was Dwyer's hit high??

Great stuff from Dwyer. Like every other Tigers fan, I thought that hit was game, set and match. If only…

    I HAVE NEVER EVER...

Shattered, almost hyper-ventilated and this afternoon I'll be rooting for a team I hate, but it was a lot of fun. That was a good game of footy.

    Round 26: Willow's match report

Completely agree. Given the sloppy play, I'm very surprised they didn't run away with it.

    Mitch Brown

Fantastic game from Mitch last night. I'm sold - he's done everything asked of him this year and deserves a spot in the starting side.

    Bird??

There isn't a bloke in the game that I dislike more. However, the fact the refs allowed it is even more disgraceful. Love how Lui suddenly had an arm made from concrete…

Willow's match report and player review

Two things. I'm convinced Payten is one of the most important players in the team. If he's fit, we're in with a chance. Secondly, Ayshford gets his arm free every time he's tackled. I'm with Pymble Pete, what's it going to take to get him to pass? And thanks for the report, Willow.

    Lui

Fair assessment. An off-season with a focus on defence will do him a lot of good.

    5 Years Between Beers!!!

    All of the above.

    Dane Laurie

Laurie showed he hasn't learnt a thing at Penrith, or changed his attitude. He's still lazy, unfit and a liability in defence. I'm glad we got rid of him. I think Elliot was the only person in the world who thought naming Daine - and starting him!? - would be a good thing for Penrith.

    Mitch Brown

I was cheering for Mitch yesterday. He did very well. Mitch and Daniella have both shown lots of promise and taken the opportunities they've been given. Good on them. I don't intend to use this opportunity to have another go at the re-signing and use of Fitzhenry, but I also think Mitch offers...

A classy act from a classy person!

Great stuff from Marshall and the Tigers.

Your Team for next week v..

I can't believe Payten is missing from so many team lists. Saturday's game was further proof of how important he is to the team's success. His defence and desire was missed.

    One month to save reputations

Fair post, Eddie. I too hope that the boys will use this loss like they used the other loss to Souths this year. Another season without making the finals will be hard to take.

    Video Ref

I do think the video ref is necessary, but it's abused by the on-field refs continually deferring to it rather than making a decision themselves. In the Rabbitohs/Dogs game a few weeks back the refs made a few calls that would usually have been deferred. It maintained the momentum of the game...

Tigers looked better in that second twenty of the half, definitely the better team. Fifita's game so far is an improvement on recent performances. Keith looked like a different player in his second stint. Good tries from Robbie and Lote - I'd say it's worth hitting that left side a few more times…

Great work, Robbie. Heighington playing like he wants it, as usual. Lawrence needs more ball.
