Yes it’s well known that recruitment officers don’t go to junior rep carnivals anymore, they just sit at their desktop to see the train and trial players the two time wooden spooners have and then go offer them 5 year NRL contracts
Guessing so. We were in a line for drinks and I said ‘looking forward to the season with the tigers?’ And he said something like ‘no, I’m trying to go to Brisbane but they won’t let me, I hate it, it’s a boys club and I’m not in the club’
Graham signed with us then asked for a release to Brisbane like a week later, I saw him at the races in the pre season and he told me this to my face. Why we didn’t let him go is beyond me. He never wanted to be here and then we barely played him and when we did it was on an edge which he wasn’t...
The manly bros have a few wraps
The kid from Keebra is a centre. His management company put a highlights package up when we signed him and it was completely meh
If the Dogs have really given Conti a Top 30 spot for 2025 they are idiots and can have him. Guy hasnt even played a game of Ball yet. Look at what they did to Kautoga who was killing it with us.
Ive never been a refs fault guy
However this year has been the worst ive seen in bias against 'bad teams'
Weve been crap for a decade but Ive never felt that weve been as effected by dud calls like we have this year
COVID killed a lot of 19-21 year olds careers. missing 18 months of footy at that age is terrible for development, particuarly halves. Camroux definelty got shafted there
admittedly i only saw highlghts but Tannous seemed to go well in the 7 yet now back to the bench. i never understood trying to turn him into a 9, hes an out and out half to me.
We have 27 spots filled next year and are apparently signing Sezer and Sullivan shortly. Its fairly terrible roster management, but Im guessing Staines is getting left out.
Why we extended Naden, Kepaoa and Toa last year I have no idea.
