There are young kids watching this program on TV and Madge lets loose a continuous procession of swearing. His persona becomes worse after the team lose and his swearing intensifies. Not a good look for youngsters who want to reach a level in rugby league without feeling intimidated by the coach.

As much as I’m surprised with the relaxed editing, it highlights Madge’s passion. I like it. It shows what it takes to get to the top in rugby league or any sport. It’s not a walk in the park. If you’re intimidated by a swearing coach then good luck with a 6’3 tank running at you. (By the way I’ve never played competitive rugby league)
