Hold em to nil.
I know to play well is the main objective…play to the gameplan, minimise errors and the result usually looks after itself.
But I see this as a big chance to finally get a team for a duck, even a team with a Scotty prince in it....he's as off as a prawn in the sun atm....would love nothing better than a scoreline of 28-0 or 36 blot.
Carn boys :sign:
Now Ive said it I know we're no chance :brick:
Oh well.

36-0
FTS Atshford
LTS Ellis
Crowd: Mostly disappointed, small section in orange derilious

^^ That. Except I'd like to see a 50-0 scoreline, and a nice close up of Princess having a cry at the end of the game.

 That's a bit mean, Suze, love it!

Am I right in saying we've never held a team to nil as the Wests Tigers? I recall Souths (Merrit) scoring in the 79th minute being the closest we've come.

just want the win.
if wests-tigers can hold them to nil it would be fantastic. 😛ray:
would like to see prince sent to sin bin for holding a player down in the tackle, and whilst he is in the bin from the ensuing penalty, wests-tigers score a try to give titans no chance at all to win. .

Couple of 2 points against scorelines - Parra 04 i think & Dogs 05 come to mind…never nil

Will be happy with the two points especially during this time of many injured players. But I will get in on it too.

Tigers 16
Titans 0

Halftime Tigers 6-0

FTS - Farah
LTS - Brown
MOM - Farah

Crowd - 16000

Today's episode has been brought to you by the letter T and the number 0.

Now, does the T stand for Tiger or Titan?…

That's an interesting thought Ink. I would suggest unlikely considering Wests Tigers have never held a side to nil, but if we can defend as we did against Souths, hopefully a low score.

Titans attack hasn't necessarily been their problem, their defence has.

am i the only one who hates threads like this? Dreaming of a 28 nil scoreline is one thing, but to say it out loud is just plain bad luck and always comes back to bite us….................sorry, but im very superstitous and find making over confident statements bad luck. Karma has a funny way of working itself out.

Its very unlike u Innk to make such statements, u must be very confident.

Im fairly confident.
In theory there's no reason why it cant be done.
Realistically is the enemy of theoretically….now I think of Princes boot and our two small wingers, I see tries to them in the corner - maybe.

Really it was more a passing thought earlier today that came back while online, just thought Id throw it out for discussion.

It will happen one day

I will take the two points thanks . If we win by 2 or 50 doesn't worry me . Lets not try and get too greedy hey . Titans can still play and as said previously ignore past form . They have 2 warriors back in the form of Bird and Harrison this week and will be hard to beat at home .

Tigers 40 (Ayshford 2, Brown, GIBBS (yes, Bryce F'n Gibbs), Marshall, Farah, Moltzen Tries, Marshall 6/7, Miller 0/1)
Titans 12 (Zillman, Bird Tries, Prince 2/2)

HT: Tigers 14-4

Crowd: a disappointing 14,000 at Skilled watch their boys get shallacked….. AGAIN

MOM: Ayshford - When Miller comes on, Ayshford starts taking the line on, and scores a ducking weaving individual try to bury the game.

Keeping them to nil would be a huge bonus. I think creatively the Titans have a few problems at the moment. No Preston Campbell and Mat Rogers has put a big dent in the Titans attack this season so far and with Prince having had some niggling injuries, he hasn't really settled down and found form either. The Titans forward pack will go hard all night and they're very fit so if the Tigers forwards aim up in this one, that's going to be the key to squashing Prince and keeping their backline quiet.

Mead and Michaels aren't the biggest blokes in the world either.

This can go either way. We could either underestimate them and cop a rude shock or we could smack them into next week.

With Prince still down on form, Friend still finding match fitness and Zillman looking to march out at 5/8 they could cop a flogging.

This is much like last week, but the heart always says the guys will get across the line!

Mmm there is confidence and there is confidence. At this stage i'll take the 2 points however it comes without any more injuries.
