It would be interesting to see how successful Manly are with their clean out. If successful Wests Tigers could think of following the same course of action.

I thought that Tim Sheens wanted Willie Mason at wests-tigers for season 2010 & 2011, and sponsors then were against it. Was it part of the no d…head policy ?

Be surprised if any of these players will be at wests-tigers in 2016.
I thought wests-tigers had money / salary cap issues.

Half the reason we are at the bottom of the pile is for years we have been buying cast offs, we have to sign quality players to fill the gaps in our roster where we are struggling. Yes we need depth, but we have fix our major problem areas first with players or will get the job done more often than not

How do you axe contracted players if no one picks them up>

You pay them out simple got the money they go away.

I'm pretty sure they still need to be included in the cap unless another club picks them up. Unless someone can correct me on this?
