I love ET but I’d like to see him move on after 2019\. We need forwards with more go forward. The fact that he’s good at slowing down the play the ball simply isn’t enough

If he came good, I wouldn't mind that. Always rated McQueen and I thought he was playing well before the neck injury. Maybe he just needed last year to get over it.

If that’s supposed to be a funny dig at what’s happened with Cleary, you’d be wrong. Cleary wanted a release. If we tell them they can leave but can’t find another club, we’re stuck with them. Why’s that? Contracts lol.

If a Club doesn't want you …sure they can stay with their contract these guys are professional athletes and want to play at the top level if a Club let's you know you are not really in the plans you will find somewhere else..how many times have we seen it with higher profile guys than ours too and lower one's...

Not saying the Club doesn't want any of these guys either ATM some fans don't sure...

A change of Coach often leads to a shake up of the playing roster in the second year unlikely to boot them tomorrow but it will happen..contract or not...

If you got the right kind of authority as a coach you can tap a player on the shoulder. Its very easy to say to someone you can consider other options. Can be played out behind closed doors. The player knows he might be better to look around. it doesnt have to be a JT v Farah thing. it can be subtle if the coach is smart enough.

Reality though is Maguire could do this to one or two guys, most likely McQueen and Rochow.

Yeah Maguire already managed to move Rochow on from Souths a few years ago. This time he might need to call a few of his old Super League contacts to offload him though…

Way too early to assume who Madge would and wouldn’t want. He may not even know himself yet. Probably smart to let the first 6-12 rounds play out in 2019\. By then we might get an idea of which players, if any are out of favour.
