Gee that's pretty poor…, how much did you pay for that?

i got my through tikertek about week ago and they're pretty much in front...$60 bucks for 4 tickets (family)

Membership is something that I would like to have but playing sport on Sundays usually at 1pm or 3pm and following the Tigers means you won't make many games. I also train for said sport on Friday nights leaving the Saturday night time-slot, which the Tigers just don't get in Sydney, and finish work after 5pm making it difficlut to make Monday night games and therfore pretty much all matches.

The only match I was able to make last season was the Broncos match out at Campbelltown because training was called off due to the amount of rain. It makes it hard to support the side, let alone watch it. Thanks god for replays on the NRL website and live streaming.

Was only $8 more than GA which I now see lookin at the map is the bit behind the posts.
Its not a money thing, thats nothin.

I just needed to get that off my chest, you ssee in the appliction res. ticket options, you think youre getting a decent seat ( well stoopid me did anyway) and then find out I'll be looking to my right for at least 90 minutes.

Just thinking today how much of a rort this all is nowadays, I remember the trial at this ground only 6 years back when Patty snapped his leg, we'd just got herbal world onboard..I think it was $10 in and I was on the 40m line, the trial at LO against manly when a MASSIVE storm hit and Staks & Knuckle got drenched….$5

$50 odd yesterday for tix & parkin...at least I had a decent seat tho

Not cheap

There are NO EXCUSES not to get a membership!

If you can't commit to going to any games then get a Stripes Membership for only $49, or $7 direct debit per month.

I expect the number of Storm memberships to increase quite a bit more. Their Memberships went on sale very late but alot of people will want to get their seat at the new Melbourne stadium.

They certainly make money out of people now just for trial games. No wonder teams don't travel to far from Sydney these days to play them. I would have thought that if you ordered tickets through Wests Tigers that they would have given you a seat/s in the WT fan bay. Being given a seat on the dead ball line doesn't seem right at all.

I live in brisbane and I have bought my stripes membership.
I wonder what our total membership numbers would be including all the non-ticketed members??
Anyone have an idea?

Has anyone else had troubles stepping up?? After umming and arring I thought I might as well just get the membership again but it isn't letting me.

I used this link -

http://www.weststigers.com.au/default.aspx?s=membership-portal

Although I was a member in 2008, last year I didn't renew as I was able to buy a 2009 ST discounted from an injured players relative. The problem I am having is I can't use his details to 'renew' but it won't let me start a new registration or even use my 2008 registration.

Is there something wrong with the link? Am I doing something wrong? Or have they closed online step ups??
This is what it shows me when I click the above link -

I want to buy now before I change my mind as I'm already not sure if I should renew considering I live far and can't commit to the games I want to go to yet.

BRET…...I had trouble renewing online...Had to ring them.....87413300...

Might be your best bet....they could probably allocate seats too if your getting a reserved seat package....

Thanks Geo. Were you using FF?? I just tried the link on IE and it worked. It may be a Firefox issue.

Yep Firefox…but I tried IE too..

It was someting to do with my changing email address...Anyhow I love ringin the WT membership department....Takes 3 days to get and answer but the are _trying_

Well it is all working now, except even tho it says we can pay by direct debit - it won't let me select to do so. It wants my credit card details and says the total is due now.

Ugggh just wasted an hour trying to get this sorted - I guess I will have to call and wait the 3 days haha

Yeah you need to call them about the direct debit. I had trouble with this late last year on line. Even if you select direct debit when completing the application on line, it still demands instant payment for what ever the membership might be.

Signed up before christmas last year and still haven't recieved the membership card/ticket. Only the hat, keyring and sticker or whatever…

Pretty dissapointed. I do hope this is soon sorted out!

I have a few issues with the memberships this year (and seemingly most years). I think the Step Up promotion is great and encouraging some competition and rivalry between the clubs… but having memberships that are basically just pre-purchased match tickets is ridiculous. Memberships and match tickets are 2 totally different things. I don't live in Sydney anymore... actually I don't even live in Australia at the moment, so there is no point in me buying match tickets. Finally they released the stripes membership package where I can be a member without having to spend money on tickets... but now I see these memberships don't count as figures on the whole Step Up promotion. Why not???!!!

I would hazzard a guess the AFL clubs who do get 40,000 members, a lot of those probably don't pre-purchase match tickets. I know they get huge crowds, but who can guarantee how many or which matches they can go see during the year. If the NRL and clubs want more members, just promote that... Memberships... NOT season tickets.
