2010 Rep Players

I know this is a long shot but the season is still along way off and I need to talk footy.
How many reps players could we have in 2010.
Aust- Farah
England - Ellis
Kiwis-Benji, Arana, TNT
NSW - Galloway, Lawrence
City/Country - Heighno, Ashford?

Benji is a given and Farah would also like his chances but he'll be wanting to regain his SOO jersey for sure. Galloway and Lawrence would be chances to play SOO provided they are fit and in form. Gibbs could be a chance for City, Heighno for Country. Not sure on anyone else at this stage.

If Galloway and Lawrence play footy the way they did before getting injured they should be a shoe in.
I would love to see rhino play some rep footy, he definitely deserves it! As for Gibbs i see him returning to form but still 50/50 if he will get selected at all. Farah > Ennis so its pretty much a no brainer.
Cant have a kiwi squad without benji and if tuiaki returns to form this season he should easily be able to kick goodwin off the wing. Though i cant see Arana playing at 7 for NZ i can see him playing at 14.

Galloway is the important one.
If he forces his way into SoO then it means he is fit and dominating (which he is definitely capable of doing).
If thats the case then I think the Tiges as a team will be travelling really well.

Whilst Cam Smith is still available Farrah wont play for Australia this year or the next. He will however, regain SOO duties.

Lawrence should play SOO and maybe so to ( if he can keep his butt out on the field ), will Galloway.

Benji will play for NZ and Ellis for Great Britain.

TNT will play very little footy through injury and will again miss out.

I think Gibbs and Heigno will again take City/country honours.

No dark horses this year but 2011 could well see the emergence of Moltzen in rep teams.

IMO…..

Moltzen for Country Origin.

i second that.

if the selectors pick gidley at fullback for nsw, with craig wing gone the bench utility has really opened up.

moltzen got a lot of wraps at the end of last season, if the tigers are winning and he is in form, wouldnt surprise me if he is in contention

Lawrence will be a candidate again, but he'll have to make some headlines imo to oust the likes of Jennings and the Morris brothers being the incumbent S.O.O centres. His best chance is to rack up plenty of tries.

Id think Josh Dugan would be in front of him, just assuming hes country

If country pick Gidley at half….and Dugan is injured Moltzen will have a shot at Fullback....cause looks like that is where Sheens will play him.....hope I'm wrong....

Think Country would go for Kimmorley or Mullen at half....

Gibbs, Farah, Galloway front row for City will be nice.....Lawrence in the centres......

but who are we kidding ....it's Wests Tigers our blokes never get picked ......Wonder if Sheens being the Aussie Coach will change any of that.....

Robbie has a very long way to go before he warrants a SOO recall. (And Im a massive RF fan)

Again it comes down to who is at # 7 according to the selecters
