2013 - Blair on the bench?

Having a look at our current roster, and taking into account injuries, I don't know how we could start Adam Blair if we were at full strength.

Consider Liam moving back to the 2nd row is Siro was healthy and you'd be hard pressed to put him on the bench given his form (and also better all-round ability than Blair). Blair also wouldn't move Gareth or even Braith next year assuming sheens wants him in the forwards. He's not playing lock either in front of Heighno or even Bell.

Given BMM's improvement this year as well it's safe to say he'll be pushing to start in the 2nd row as well next year.

We may have payed this bloke 400-500k a year to sit on the bench.

Ellis is returning to the super league next season. I'm not sure if you're aware of this? One would imagine that Fulton or Heighington will be relegated to the bench. With Anasta and Blair taking the two backrow starting options. Logically that is. However I am convinced that we will see Marshall wear the 7 and Anasta the 6.
Blair won't be dropped or forced onto the bench for any reason.

Nah he will start. Hopefully next year he's more "settled" and starts having an impact.

13\. Blair playing tight (like a 3rd Prop) in rotation with BMM/Heighington (if he is retained)

Look for Lovett, Santi & Fotuaika to also feature throughout the year.

He doesn't deserve a run on spot. Its that simple. Maybe as a 3rd prop as per Tiger Watto's suggestion but that is it.

Don't forget Andrew Vela either Watto. He would have made his debut earlier this year had he not done his shoulder. I think you have pretty well hit the nail on the head with the forward rotation, although personally I think our backrow is a bit light. I think we'll get bashed up the middle quite a bit next year.

This is what I think too. I think our backrow is the biggest concern for the team next year. Blair doesn't have any impact. Fulton is a great runner of the footy out wide and his defence is great but he is a small backrower. Heighno isn't bad but he isn't great. We need a player like Ellis there. I don't think BMM is ready to take up that role either.

I think we need to buy a hard running backrower - maybe Pettybourne will do the job or maybe a junior will slot in but at the moment I think it is a major concern.

To add to that Sheens needs to choose the right players there.
