2013 halfback

miller isnt ready? when i watch miller play i feel as though i'm watching the game in slow motion - 1st grade is another level. However on the same token, when i watch miller play - he mesmeries the opposition somehow and instinctively targets the wings and centre field leading to points ALA 2012 premiers. Yes, watching miller feels as though the same thing when i watched a young Dale Cherry Evans, slow for the want of a better word right now but effective. Now who will nurture this talent - Parish or Potter? Who is a better teacher? Does Millers future hinge on the outcome of our new coach? Can this new coach teach Miller self belief like Bennett did for Soward or Hasler did for Reynolds, Bellamy did for Widdop and Maguire did for Reynolds? I'm sorry but if we dont get the best coach for the job Miller may become that Dale Cherry Evans at another club. This is my case for Miller. Yes he is ready SIR - but lets give him the best wisdom.

It might of been one of the reason behind him not exceeding under Sheens, he might not of felt part of his plans or allowed to play his natural game. Hopefully he does feel the love & confidence to step up under the new coach just like the coaches you mentioned AHX where able to bring the best out in those players. You always hear about players talking about how confidence effects the way they play. Good read AHX

I don't know about having Anasta and Sirro in the pack. Potentially similar style forwards. Assuming Blair is the other 2nd-rower, that is not a real hard working back-row. Maybe Sirro could come off the bench and play the last 20mins or so, Fulton to start? Don't know.

Anyway, on-topic, Miller for half-back for sure.

Miller should be given a fair go not half a go. Lui wasn't that effective when he started and just got better as he went because he was given a fair go. We should do the same with Miller and be patient as well.

So you happy with Anasta at 7 and Miller left right out? And if Miller gets the gig does Anasta get moved to the brackets? Brackets seems like a fairly useless position

Agree. However in my opinion Lui only got marginally better. I believe more in the potential of Miller so I hope we have even more patience with him.

Does anyone really think that an incoming coach will see Anasta as a halfback? We've been putting up with Sheens so long that it appears some are starting to think like him

Anasta at 7 was pure Sheens. A new coach makes it a whole new ball game
 
Who knows where a new coach will play Anasta? I just want to see Potter or Walters picked as coach & then they can get on with the hard work that has to be done. This could be one of the most important years in the Wests Tigers short history.

Still comes down to whether he has someone better GNR

Sheens dislike of having actual halfbacks does not leave us with too much in the cupboard

Even if Miller does stay , where would we be if he was injured in Round 1

Up that well known creek without a paddle in a barb wire canoe

Agree. Anasta at 13 or he was a waste of a purchase - in my opinion.
