2014 Leadership Group

Who do you see forming the leadership group next year? Do we have the right players already or do we need to recruit further with leaders in mind? Entering what is hopefully a new era, what do they need to do differently?

For a start, it seems to me, even in the flush periods, we seem to loosely gather under the posts, heads down whenever the opposition scores. Too often too little talk from senior players.

Blair's name was thrown about preseason in a team selected leadership group i believe. He's working hard now, don't see a problem there. And, farah, fulton are the obvious ones.

Also, I think that Pat Richards, Woods and Galloway can provide leadership as well. Backs are likely to face a lot of inexperience, which is why i wanted braith at 6 to help that along with richards maybe on the wing or centre. But obviouslly, anasta has been playign abysmally so perhaps Austin will have to fill that position.

Bit of toss IMO.

Should just be a natural thing where senior guys help lead the younger ones and every person in the club taking responsibility for themselves all aiming to lead by example.

A group shouldnt even need to be selected, but it seems the new in thing at clubs these days

The obvious 4 would be Woods ,Fulton, Blair and Robbie

If you brought a younger couple in Tedesco and Sirro You want someone who can bridge the Generation Gap

Tuquiri ??? Is he signed for 2014?

Probably will be on match payments again, if he's keen to play. Likely at centre, good tactical choice by him.

Is there an assigned group to let young blokes know that they are welcome? I thought it was called teamship and looking after your mates with none of this politically correct BS!
