Lamar's contracted for 2014 but WT will find it difficult to hold him for 2015 and beyond particularly if Bulldogs opt to hold Dujean after next year well.

Care to shed some light on that? If he and his friends from Keebra are all playing, winning and settling in to life in a new city together and have a really strong bond, would all this really be overtaken for the off chance he could play with his brother?

The brothers can live together, do they really have to work together too?

What if, on the other hand the Tigers made a play for Dujean?

What connection does he have to the Bulldogs in your opinion which is seemingly so strong?

With Dujean having had a year at the Dogs and with Mum and Dad and the rest of the family having moved here as well it's come down to preference and the relationship they've already established with the club. They haven't had that same connection with the Tigers.

Tigers are fortunate to have Lamar for this year at least. Ironcially when he, Ene, Hoeter, Gavet and older brother Dujean were all playing in the same club team through their juniors Lamar was always the younger understudy; he's clearer come out from under his brother's shadow and into his own. As many of us know he's had an awesome year in 2013.

Similarly, they may find that if Lamar's experience with the Tigers is greater than that of his brother at the Dogs then they may want Lamar and Dujean to play for the Tigers.

Most of the Keebra boys are at the Tigers and if they're all treated well, enjoying their footy and get opportunities, and possibly have better chances of first grade who's to say that we wouldn't Trump, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon the dogs.

We've got an entirely new culture in the brew at the club now, and the kids are a big part of that!

No mention of the young Rugby Union fella Deegan that we signed ??

good point, not sure how official that list is however.

Was this signing confirmed??

I know the waratahs gave up on him some time ago, conceding he was leaving (I assumed to us, guess it could have been elsewhere)

Not sure where the notion of young Deegan came from. My mail is that Tigers have not spoken to the union player and have no idea who he is.

doubt he is with us to be honest…

0 mention of him apart from this thread.

wonder what he's doing though, he's a bright prospect for either code.

You'd think Marshall-King and TeMaire Martin would be the leading candidates for the halves in NYC so Deegan would be more of a backup/project in any case.

Strong squad, and Martin is going to kill it!

As I said in the Deegan thread the updated nyc squad should either be announced by the end of this week, or the first week in January so all will be revealed soon!

Mitchell Moses will be there.

True willow, at least at first. Think he'll play a fair bit of nsw cup in the latter part of the season, form and fitness allowing.

Peter Nay I believe is going to be in the squad, he is a hooker that was St George SG ball player of the year in 2012, very quick and nippy out of dummy half, defense is his weakness, no chance in getting past Cherrington, but would offer good back up and might be a handy impact benchy

Was @ Cessnock Leagues last week & they had a big opinion of a Half called Eli Levido who is trialing with us.

Eli was referred to in a Wests Tigers article, dated 13/9/2013 (refer: http://www.weststigers.com.au/news-display/Wests-Tigers-resign-several-exciting-players/84398).

Our youth scouts have been sound in their judgements for some time.
