2017 membership and voting rights

Received info on next years membership as we have auto rollover and there was mention of voting rights for members next season .
Do not know what this means exactly but interesting non the less!

I'd be surprised if it's board members we are voting on… Would require a massive change to the whole set up of the club

I spoke to the membership department the week before last and was told the home ground allocation for next year will be exactly the same as it currently is

Membership of Wests Tigers is like being a member of the Qantas Frequent Flyer program.
Frequent fliers get lots of nice perks, but it is totally seperate to being a Shareholder of Qantas.

What you just stated is correct. As I understand it the Wests Tigers current ownership structure is 75% (Wests) and 25% (Balmain), all Balmain members should become Wests Ashfield members so they can elect a Wests board member to their choosing who will in turn select board members who they want on the Wests Tigers board. After all it is all about who has the numbers !!!

You have to be a member for 3 years before you get voting rights at Wests Ashfield.

That throws a spanner into the works if true….
