This was without doubt the hardest season to watch for myself.
Someone on here described some of our wins feeling like loses 😂 madness!
Not sure what 22’ brings for us fans.I don’t think sacking Madge will achieve much but he clearly isn’t the man to get these lads fired up.The only blessing is some young lads getting some game time that they can hopefully gain lots of confidence from.
I’ll try and erase our todays game from my memory 🥴 I was devastated, actually felt sick to my stomach,very dramatic I know lol huge low point as a footy fan.

2015 was a pretty depressing year when Taylorball was at its peak. I remember being at Ctown one night, watching us lose 8-0 to the Cowboys in the most boring game ever played. People were actually falling asleep. 2001 and 2002 were pretty forgetful years as well. This one just blends in with the rest that we didn’t play finals imo.

The tigers were so predictable in attack & defence that teams read us like a book & exploited our weaknesses
No creativity in attack & zero resilience in defence
IIm surprised we didn’t get the spoon this year
The past 9 seasons were crap to but 2021 takes the cake

I’ve got a lot of members hats and this year I got a scarf. Not sure what to do with them right now. I’m not proud to wear them. Do I free up some space in my cupboard and toss them or keep them and wear them in the future when we are successful to help purge the shame?

There hasn't been fair weather for a long time so I think calling anyone giving up that is a tad harsh atm.
I was at that point last year - this year hasn't done much to reinvigorate me. If it hadn't been for lockdown and not being able to buy a boat I would have watched far fewer games.

Okay my friends...

Another average year but it's been extremely fun chatting with everyone on here and sharing our thoughts.

Let's reflect on the season and chat about what we have learnt or what we would like to see happen at our club.. or simply, acknowledge our peers on the forum and how they've contributed positively to your life.

I was going to start a new thread with something along those lines but you beat me to it. Great stuff @Demps

Just wanted to say thank you to everyone here on the forum. To moderators and fellow fans. It has been another rough year on the field, so this forum has been a great place to vent and to share the frustrations with mates.

Mods, you have built a little community here. Well done for keeping it in-check and for continuing to make this one of the enjoyable parts of being a Tigers supporter.

Thank you all for listening and for often putting up with my rants.

Hopefully next season we will perform better on the field and have many more positive threads.

I'll have a virtual beer with you all tonight.

Well what have I learnt .....I have learnt that the club still hasn't learnt what it takes to put a quality roster together and we are actually going backwards unless we can keep these juniors together

I have also learnt that our management really can't see the woods because of all trees that get in the damn way

We are a complete mess across the board and it's getting damn embarassing ....

Reflections?... Some say its just a game, and it is, but its not, its so much more. Its also an escape from reality.... From our routine, our troubles and concerns.
In the heat of the moment the players are running on primal instincts driven by adrenalin. Thats real.
In that moment Wests Tigers score, my heart-rate goes up, my spirits lift, my hopes soar that we've somehow turned off the Also-rans Highway and onto the Top 8 Expressway. Real emotions.
When we win, the whole week is good. When we don't... well its only a game after all, but all the same, the disappointment is real.
Massive Ups to all who keep this forum going, thanks to all who contribute regardless of point of view coz we're all here with WT's passion and two thumbs up for the content that makes strangers stare at me coz I'm pissing myself laughing.
Special mention to whoever posted the joke about Yoda seeing himself in 4K.... Simply the best!
