Thanks. While the top 30 doesn’t excite, the pipeline of youth looks pretty good. When we add some solid guns in ‘23 we’ll hopefully have the right balance.

The up and comers are all very exciting prospects.

Really like the look of Dillon, Rua and Guyan.

If we can keep the best and build around them, the future is bright.

Dillon isn’t fullback depth this year.
He isn’t even eligible to play NRL until best case middle of the season.

AJ would probably be fullback depth.

Are backs are very very thin.

Hopefully a few of the younger guys step up and take their game to a new level. We really are missing some experience to help guide them to becoming first graders.

Great work and thanks for putting this together @nrlsurvivor

AK, outside possibility of James Roberts as I think he is the only player we have who has played at Fullback. His training is geared towards Center but he was known as the Jet at Fullback.

100% no to Noffa. It would be intersting and No no no..

Correct. All players in italics aren’t eligible until I think round 10. It’s looking like AJ will get a crack in the centres to start the season hence I’ve put him there. But I believe you are correct that he is also the likely back-up if Daine goes down. Let’s hope he’s been practising catching bombs in the off-season or we are in trouble if DL goes down.

Hastings is more likely to play fullback if Laurie is out given the current injuries within the squad

I don’t know the point of this “depth chart”. It’s not like the NFL. Dillon won’t play NRL at all in 2022 for a start.

No won’t but it’s good to see you we have as cover. Looking at that list who do you replace Laurie with if he breaks his leg again?

I can guarantee Dillion won’t be the one to replace him. I’m a little bemused by all the talk lately of back up fullbacks. I didn’t know such a role existed. Usually if a fullback goes down you either shift a winger back there, or someone else. If AD wasn’t injured, it would be him.

Whilst 2022 looks to be a turn a round year for WT'S sadly IMO we'll have to wait till 2023 when some of our better signings come on board 2022 will be a make or break year for some of the young up and coming guys the "deadwood" has been cleared and good times are coming

I agree Dillion is highly unlikely to play firsts next year. He still needs to develop his game and isn’t eligible at the moment anyhow. AD isn’t available until round 8 or so.

If Laurie goes down in the trial who do you have playing fullback?

The deadwood will never be fully cleared. That’s an old wives tale in Tigertown. While we pull the occasional good signings like Pap and Api, there will always be a handful of players in the squad who we consider as deadwood. It’s just where are at as a club.

I’m not sure. It isn’t at the top of my list of concerns. He might end up playing every game for all we know.

Can Peachey play 5/8?
