2022 Season, Where will WestS Tigers finish?

I predict last, no bias just on paper I mean it looks like it to me. Hope I'm wrong by lots.

You have to set your predictions on historical form and current player status. With the injuries, untested players and young guys we have and the way we played in 2021, it is likely that as it stands right now, we have the worst top 30 in the comp.
Last is a reasonable prediction.

I think they’ll do better but god knows by how much. Long season ahead.

I predict an unbeaten pre-season.
I otherwise expect some ticker every game thereafter.
Results will look after themselves - games are not won on paper - results mirror what you are willing to bleed for.

Bottom 4 - hope I'm wrong.

I hope you're wrong.

Much like last season, this is another where any team could slide into the 8.

Titans played finals last year.
No reason we can't this year.

As mentioned, our effort and attitude need to be much improved if we want that...

Losing to the dogs, warriors and the first NQ game... not on.

I think we need other teams with stronger rosters to perform poorly to have any chance and we won't know how that unfolds till the season is going. Bottom 4 prediction is based on paper alone when looking at our roster compared to other clubs.

I understand completely.

Our lads really need to aim up and play as well as they can.

Going off last year though, low expectations.

Hopefully we see some solid performances.

3rd.
Better to have a champion team (which we are building towards) than a team full of champions (like the dogs have bought, bottom 4 for them by the way)
Call me a fool if you like but big things are building.
KOE boys will be lifting a trophy at the end too, and Flegg as well hopefully!

You’re setting yourself up for a big fall if you think we are a top 4 side and the Dogs are a bottom 4 side.

We should be premiers, but if we have a bad run of injuries, discontent within the player ranks, and repeated covid outbreaks, we could finish as low as 8th.

We'll probably win the comp. We'll either win in 22 or in 23. I'm more concerned about winning in style though.

Ah, love ya attitude Earl.
I distinctly remember a prematch interview with Tim Sheens when he was asked about losing the week before.
He said 'we are building for next year, we are going to win some and lose some, a work in progress. (or words to that effect)
We went on to win the next 7 or 8 games, then won the qualifier, semi, prelim and of course the Grandfinal in 05.
None gave us a chance.
Look at the players who were relatively unknown:
Gibbs, Fulton, Laffranchi, Heino just to name a few.
We have brought into the team players who have flown under the radar:
Goldart, Hastings, Toupo, To'a, Utoikamanu, Simpkins, Seyfarth Add to Peachey and co.
I smell something is cooking. I haven't felt this optimistic for a long time.
I think it's going to be the teams that handles covid disruptions the best will do well.
Still, logically I imagine we will finish bottom of the pack because there's too many flaws that need fixing.

Your not a fool mate, just a true supporter who hangs on to hope.
All my life I've been a tiger and believe it or not a Maggie supporter.....family thing.
It would not seem right if we won week in week out, year after year.
I feel that being an underdog and praying for that elusive win makes victory taste even more special.
Go the tigers, and Maggie's!

Dogs should be a bottom 4 side.
They have recruited too well. The Foxx alone will win them games.
You have Duffy who is a good Fullback, you have TPJ, Kikou and JJ in the front, so the dogs should be able to hold their own.

But hey, Jason Taylor could win with that Cattle.
I expect the Bulldogs to flounder as TB's gaps become evident.

Stolen off Twitter (not sure whose post it is, so hope it's fine either way also apologies as I can't give credit to appropriate person) but thought it would be still great to share on forum... and try to hopefully create a little fun on here.

I agree, a below average coach and a bunch of big ego's. I just can't see them doing well once reality kicks in. They lost most games last year up the middle, their forwards were worse than ours. So they replaced the entire backline...... Sounds like something the tigers would do!

You’re setting yourself up for a big fall if you think we are a top 4 side and the Dogs are a bottom 4 side.

Perhaps. But common sense doesn't really dictate that we would all still be Tigers fans after the last ten years does it?!?

Only the fickle ones.

Think dogs are a smokey for the 8

Looking even better in 2023.

Mahoney is a very classy 9.
