2023 player to watch

Hoping that 2023 sees the best of Brent Naden (nephew of 80s Wests Magpies centre, Ian Naden):

100% agree

This bloke was killing it at the Panthers before Ivan returned as coach & has all the natural attributes to be an outstanding centre!

The loose culture at Penrith may have worked for the team in recent seasons - but it has left some casualties behind who are better suited to a more nurturing & accountable environment.

Brent has more natural talent than any centre we have had since Simona - and if we can keep his head right he will be a huge asset.

I would love to have another Naden tearing it up for our club.

I noticed training photos of Tuki Simpkins - he looks quite ripped - he knows the writing is on the wall and if he manages to get a gig with all the new forward talent we have acquired he’ll need to rip and tear from the go get. I think he’s up to it.
He’s a tall unit. If it doesn’t work out then Lee can sell the ladder and make Tuki change all the light bulbs in the joint - beats mowing the grounds at Leichhardt and Campbelltown.
