Bellamy needs to either not look like a sore loser and dismss it (which the NRL would hope for...or make a big fuss and force them to look at it closer

Riff did what they do best, Tackle.
The Storm were not bad, they just needed to play a more adventurous game plan. Riff won the arm wrestle convincingly in the end but I don’t think the Storm mixed it up enough. From a Tigers point of view our two future recruits were great. Bottom line, good to see the two best teams battle it out, and despite Clown, the best team won

Atleast we don’t have to waste money on useless premiership memorabilia. Riff fans must be hating it.
i wasnt sure one way or the other but thought it was held up. At worst, insufficient evidence to overturn the on field decision of held up. Storms only try was off the back of field position gifted from what i thought was a much more obvious bunker error.
I actually thought the bunker blundered massively which led to the storm first try . All year if the ball comes out in a motion of making a tackle , with a wrapping motion , it was ruled a knock on . Then they just uno reverse it this game , because reasons ….
Whoever was in the bunker had his eyes painted on .
Even the Coates “knock on”, sure did look like it was Tago’S arm propelling that forward .
The thing the nrl needs to work on over the offseason with their refs is consistency . I don’t think people would blow up as much , if every time they went up to the bunker be very fan had NFI what the decisions were going to be .
I know the nrl went away from a “one interpretation to rule them all” like 5 years ago , but , it’s not made for a better product . Every ref and video ref having their own idea of what the rules are just makes them all look inept , if not corrupt . Purely because no one has any idea what the actual rules are . Fans , coaches , players etc.

Pretty fair assessment. Penrith better over the 80 minutes and took their chances. Luai and Turuva were great
Im a unashamably a NSW & TIGERS supporter but cleary is the BIGGEST PRETENDER in the modern game! Have a look at hin HIDING on the wing in defense in the GF. Andrew John NEVER shirked his defensive load in the middle. cleary is NOT & NEVER will be Andrew Johns a##holes ameba!

I have no doubt that grant wouldn’t have done his best to give impartial decisions , but seriously what’s he doing there ? He should never ref a Penrith game in any capacity ever . If only because of the illusion that he’s biased .
And people could argue unconscious bias as well .
I honestly feel like since amnesty and Sutton have been running the show this has gotten way worse .
The nrl needs a bit of a clean out of its ref ranks imho .
As long as Anusley is in charge of the referees and the judiciary there will always be doubt about integrity in the game
