I'm going for the Panthers even though I enjoy watching the Storm play. I have got over my hate for Clearly, and respect how that club has managed to build success off the back of a great squad. Winning 4 in a row would be a great feat given that it is slowly but surely being picked apart. The last of the Cleary/ Luai era.
I'm sure your not alone - I have no time for him he is the equivalent of a cardboard cutout to me.I still loathe Cleary.
Going for Melbourne. Easy decision.
JFH will be fired up in his last game for Penrith I have Melbourne winning though been the best team all seasonIf the Storm base their game plan around targetting Cleary, they will lose.
Definitely the R edge with Tago, Cleary and To'o is weaker though. Martin loves to come in in the early phases and jam blokes and Queensland succeeded in creating overlaps in the first game with that reason as well.
I feel Melbourne's pack isn't aggressive enough. Lots of work horses, some with skill. But no one who will charge into the line and make a dent. Coates and Warbrick will really have to work hard to make those metres.
I feel Melbourne has more motivation but Penrith is too perfect at this level. Storm just need to stay in the grind and hope Penrith is the first to break after 70 minutes of arm wrestle.
It's not easy, I feel the same but want Luai and Turuva to do well.I still loathe Cleary.

Does it even matter anymore? Win, lose or draw tomorrow, they will still go down as the greatest club of the modern era. Cleary’s legacy has already been written.I still loathe Cleary.

Cleary’s legacy is definitely in stone.Does it even matter anymore? Win, lose or draw tomorrow, they will still go down as the greatest club of the modern era. Cleary’s legacy has already been written.
A lot of those squads were stacked to the eyebrows and likely over the cap. None have managed to do what Penrith has done.Cleary’s legacy is definitely in stone.
Not sure if they’re the greatest club of modern era. But they’re in the discussion for sure.
Broncos of 90’s
Canberra late 80’s/90’s
Parramatta early 80’s
Melbourne last 20 years.
Yes this^^^ though I think Melbourne are the greatest club of the modern era for being consistently successful. But you’re right Cleary and Penrith are already way too successful for us to keep wishing defeat on them. If I was a Penrith supporter and they lost today, I’d still be happy. What a position to be in!Does it even matter anymore? Win, lose or draw tomorrow, they will still go down as the greatest club of the modern era. Cleary’s legacy has already been written.
It will sting for sure, but they still have the three peat to beat their chests about till the end of time.Yes this^^^ though I think Melbourne are the greatest club of the modern era for being consistently successful.
