2026-2027 Salary Cap

What i cant figure out, is that my understanding is that all clubs need to have had a Top 30 in place by June 30. But at no point did we ever have a Top 30 confirmed and we never at any point had 30 players confirmed in Top 30 this whole year!

Only thing i can think of is that they either are able to count the next highest paid players in the Top 30, or Sullivan and Bateman were included in OUR top 30, or there were sneaky upgrade/top-30 contracts handed out that weren't announced.

But they all left before the deadline, presumably to take up top 30-contracts at other teams. They can't be counted in two teams top-30!

If its not about having top-30 contracted players by the deadline, then the deadline makes no sense.

We are in better position for 2027/2028 next year we are still paying overs for Bateman and Sullivan, I think unless we get some gem forwards next year, 2027 is probably our opportunity to make the 8 with our salary cap in a great position

Here is a table of approx salaries of our currently contracted players for 2026 (including Bud). All based on internet research and putting an approx $150K (just above minimum) on our bottom tier players.

PS the year listed is the final year of the contract.

If anyone can help with Seyfarth, Pole, Sione & To'a ...

Seyfarth is on $1.4M at least that's what I'd pay him.
