Uganda did not win a medal.

Uganda's Samuel Simba Cherop lost a shoe early on during the men’s 10,000m at the Commonwealth Games, but persevered to run the fastest time of his career. He ran the final 15 laps in one spike and a sodden sock.

This games is moving way too fast for me, I can’t keep up, I must be getting old lol. Seems like too many things are happening all at once. Anyone else feel that way? I didn’t have this problem watching the olympics a couple of years ago. That seemed to go at a much more enjoyable pace.
Yes, champion @Flippedy, much the same for most of us - a shortened Commonwealth Games. less sports and events and what's left: a full-on non-stop event .... a bit like the Games version of a Maccas drive-through!
And it's all down to our former Victorian Premier, Dan Andrews, who used the Games for votes - then bailed out and had to pay Glasgow to pick up the pieces!

Oh is that what happened! No wonder it’s weird, glad it’s not just me thinking something wasn’t right. Bloody Dan Andrews left a legacy of destruction everywhere he went. So glad not to see his ugly mug on TV anymore.

The pair were separated by just 0.48 seconds, with Davies finishing in 14:44.53 and Hull in 14:45.01.
And local Scot Megan Keith brings the Scottish crowd to their feet as she attacked that race and came in a fantastic 3rd place, and captured the bronze medal.
And The first 1-2 by Australian women at the Commonwealth Games purely on the track since Raelene Boyle and Denise Boyd in 1974!
