2026 countdown

Don't think 11 wins gets us there, I think you would be fairly lucky to scrape in with 12 wins most years but probably would be safer to say that 13 wins gets you there.

11 wins + 3 byes = 28 points which I think is extremely unlikely
12 wins + 3 byes = 30 points which may be possible but need a good for and against.
13 wins plus 3 byes = 32 points should get you there most years with a 17 team comp.
Yeah with our tight wins and big losses mindset we will need 13 wins to make the 8

So looking forward to some Wests Tigers footy , been a long bumpy wait but good things are just around the corner ,
I like KPP as an addition and I think we have strengthened our reserve grade with Madden , Geyer , The ex rooster name slips me , and the guy from Gold Coast havin* another crack from a break , plus the couple young guys Andrew’s and Attard , couple spots left in case we find a diamond floating around , just need Bulla to make a call and also like to see Sione extended , sit tight , turn the fridge up to chill the beers not long now

It's not how many games we can win.

It's those terrible losing streaks that kill us. I have faith in Benji but not blind faith. This should be a season where there is enough experience, talent, and raw number of games played together to stop us from going 6 or more without a win. I can cop a losing streak from refs and bad luck or whatever... seasons are a marathon, we'll have ups and downs, but I expect not to see the existential K-hole that has all the talking heads doubting if our club ought to exist. All of us fanatics could do with a break from that.

Sometimes you just need that professional ability to find a way to win. Loads of games last year where we were pretty damn close. Most of them at Campbelltown. If we turn up often enough, and if some of the decisions we've made to add depth for our squad come through, we'll make the 8 no problem. I've seen a lot of sh1t in my time, and this could be one of those years.

I kind of have a personal expectation for us to win 4 games on the bounce this season as well. At least once. Might not happen until later on tho.... When you see some continuity mixed with growing talent (more than 50 games) its time to let yourself get a bit excited and believe.

Man i agree. Those long losing streaks we have every year really hurt (stating the obvious I know). But the really do demoralise everyone
