It's not how many games we can win.
It's those terrible losing streaks that kill us. I have faith in Benji but not blind faith. This should be a season where there is enough experience, talent, and raw number of games played together to stop us from going 6 or more without a win. I can cop a losing streak from refs and bad luck or whatever... seasons are a marathon, we'll have ups and downs, but I expect not to see the existential K-hole that has all the talking heads doubting if our club ought to exist. All of us fanatics could do with a break from that.
Sometimes you just need that professional ability to find a way to win. Loads of games last year where we were pretty damn close. Most of them at Campbelltown. If we turn up often enough, and if some of the decisions we've made to add depth for our squad come through, we'll make the 8 no problem. I've seen a lot of sh1t in my time, and this could be one of those years.
I kind of have a personal expectation for us to win 4 games on the bounce this season as well. At least once. Might not happen until later on tho.... When you see some continuity mixed with growing talent (more than 50 games) its time to let yourself get a bit excited and believe.
