Upsetting for us given the effort we see they are putting in for the club & the team’s potential for the season ahead which could be destroyed shortly.

Players should be told to train harder. Good coaches know this board BS is best ignored and even good board tasks should be kept away from the players.

Guys if you don't like it, train harder.

What about the current situation gives you any optimism that we will continue to progress from last year?

Are you suggesting that HBG taking back WT board control will actually help the situation? Because I'm pretty sure we have a long history of the same structure to draw conclusions from.

I’m not suggesting that at all.
I think our roster is slowly getting better. I’d hope those who didn’t pull their weight this year will step up and that will certainly see the squad perform better.
One of the best ways to attract talent is win.

I agree mate, but it's going to start rotting away at us again like it did last time. And the playing group is part of that.

We have a 15 year case study with multiple coaches, players, boards etc. We know the outcome when they are the ones making the calls.

Paton is saying they do not like being 90% owners without decisive control...they may have some independents, but they'll hold all the cards.
