Like how in cricket you need a fair battle between bat & ball, I think the same in rugby league with offensive and defensive footy.

These rule changes are too far towards open footy in my opinion, not sure how you fix it but there’s too many games the same. Touch football.

I just switched it on, but at 26-28 surely it can only have been entertaining.

We can certainly agree on this, as the sport lost me the moment that it started to prioritise the 20 over game. Must be about 20 years since I watched a match.

Origin is the best brand of footy, especially when it’s low scoring. Call me a traditionalist.

I don't really get why we introduced disruptor plays, if the disruptor chaser is behind the kicker and gets there quick enough to put pressure on the catcher enough that it puts him off , why is that not fair?

I think he lost ot a long time ago. I predicted he will be sacked next year, but who knows, of his players keep that level of commitment to defence he could be gone the year after winning the comp.

You can't watch the grand final and say that.

Yes Walsh fumbled a catch tonight and a better defensive fullback may have turned this game.

Clearly a rocks and diamonds player.

That said, he is a gun. The Grand final proved that. The trick is for Madge to coach some real defensive nouce into him and then he will go to that next level.

Walsh is a big game player. Kinda like Munster

They just cruise through the regular season but the bigger the occasion the more they seem to step up

In saying that, last nights game was awful
