5 is probably not what you get normally , who knows , is it training ,, is it poor attempted tackles , is it landing in a nasty position , just bad luck I feel

Bad luck I think, Herbert’s looked like poor technique

Yep I agree. There are two many shoulder injuries in a cluster to not at least formally review.

Something may be stretching those ligaments.

I’ll start the speculation with my zero knowledge… I’m calling Log carries as the cause. The constant bounce, under fatigue, with the ligaments and tendons under load…

This is such an education for me. I would of guessed we were top 3

I guess total number of injuries is not the main issue, it’s the players and the positions they play that have killed us this year. I think the game the NRL has now invented must be part of the problem and of course plain old bad luck is the other factor.

I still think at full strength we were only ever boarder line top eight, but pushing the gloom aside Iam excited for the first time in a long time with the talent coming through.

He covers it in today's Magic Sponge pod about 36 mins in. Basically these trauma/collision type injuries are bad luck rather than strength & conditioning.

I'd like to see what this would be if it was weighted towards position/importance. Think we would be a little higher.

Its no coincidence that 4 of the top 5 are the bottom of this table. Think you could interchange Manly and Knights with just about any other club if injuries were reversed.
