Apologies to Seantice - I didn;t mean to derail what was a good thread idea with my flippant comment. So I'll try starting it again for him:

Other than the Grand final week, this is going to be the most influential few days in our history..

If Tedesco and woods go, our team next year will be completely different for better or worse. Im glad we finally have a coach who will take no rubbish and bring professionalism to this club.

The clubs membership has almost doubled in two years and we have a good chance for a centre of excellence. The board are now staying away from the football side which is good for everyone.

I honestly cant wait to this weekend to see who is staying and who is going..

Exciting times ahead!!!!

& agreed - this week will have a huge influence on where we are in 1, 3 and 5 years.

I don't think it will. The club will move forward with or without the players concerned.

Outside the GF there has been a few major turning points, more specifically, the appointment of Pascoe. Loved the way he dealt with Hoopers persistent crap yesterday and more specifically his comment in regard to Moses that any early release will be on our terms not theirs. Finally a strong CEO with commitment.

Secondly the appointment of Tim Sheens for obvious reasons.

Third and more specific to opening post, the appointment and CONFIRMATION of Ivan Cleary is easily the biggest week this decade. Its the week this club turned the corner…........for at least 3 1/2 years.

All good mate. Honestly I had gone off NRL in the last 2-3 years. Prob to do with structured boring attack and the godforsaken video review system.

Im actually interested this year. A couple of floggins made me reminisce with the tigers 😂😂.

Tedesco and woods devision is huge in the context either way.. Be decided by the next game i bet..
