It may be considered pedantic but the reality is ladder position is the only meaningful status - and if we win we will still be in third.

If we lose however - depending on the margin - we could drop to as low as 5th behind the Roosters (if we lose by 2 and they win by 6) and Warriors (if we lose by 20).

Will we still be trumpeting ourselves as equal third if that occurs?

I don't think so!

We could be back out of the top 4 and looking up-hill at a home semi!

As I stated - unless your F&A are identical - equal position is pure hyperbole!

correct - you got me geo - I added two to the roosters on the table (prior to their game - while also allowing for today's game) as I did (rightly) with the Warriors!

This game was always important but now it is a real chance to be 2nd on the ladder (forget for/against at this stage) to be level on points puts the pressure on the Panthers and gives our players a mental lift that is huge with the run in to the finals…....this is a very important game now a win and I feel we could have a shot at the minor premiership thats how confident of a lift the players will get!!
