1 Toa- looked like he was in a lot of pain but he kept pushing, hope he is ok.
HM- AD for his kicking, Hope for a great effort & pretty much all the guys for playing like a team & refusing to quit.

I give crap about Staines abit but he ran out of trouble all day with Turuva. Good job

Staines is a good player. Shouldn't be playing reserve grade but that's just where he is in the pecking order

3 - Latu (absolutely massive. His defence and commitment was incredible)
2 - Turuva (his carries out of yardage and probing up the middle made a huge difference)
1 - AD (big game in the halves from him. Needed that experience. Took control of the kicking game, set up a nice try).

Latu ran well in open field and defended well on the edge.

But I feel Turuvas running from the back, he takes the toughest carries and gets a very quick play the ball.

He ran absolutely everywhere this game. Both Fainus and Douehi did well for S Fainus try but if you look at Turuva, he created an extra man by running from R side of the ruck to the L.

MOst of Turuvas runs are against a set line coming forward on tackle 2. They're such tough metres, but the quick Ptb he gets for a forward to run onto is underrated IMO.

Shout out to Twal as well for making a few last ditch tackles on our R side. They created overlaps on that side very easily.

We don't win without Latu Fainu.

We don't win if the forwards don't play to dominate the field the way they did.

We don't win if Hope doesn't get good service to our runners all game.

That is how the Tigers need to play.
