The game turned when Mbye replaced Simpkin. Better service from dummy half and got the team moving onto the ball. Simpkin back to NSW Cup please. Liddle to start and interchange with Mbye.

Good on you. There was a good contingent of Tigers fans there. But, I stand by my assessment. Mbye was a better dummy half than Simpkin when he got the chance today. The team benefitted by Mbye. Simpkin is no better than Liddle and needs more time in reserves.

You are right. Simpkin was really bad today. And mbye made a difference if just too replace a rookie. His passing was shocking like he was in la la land. Liddle should and will come back.

I agree , but you can't expect him to have a Grant type impact from day 1 ...like most new players they will have good and bad games in their 1st 50 games .......

I'm not expecting a Grant impact, I'm expecting a Liddle impact, and he's not delivering it.

Liddle had no impact, he barely ran the footy himself except he's played 50 more games

I don't agree at all. I assume you're there week in and week out to watch both the NSW Cup and NRL teams so you can make these comparisons? I am, amd I stand by my assessment. You can disagree all you like.

Haven't missed one mate. Liddle didn't impress me in first grade and I thought it was fair that Simpkin be given a crack. I'm not surprise Liddle is doing well in reserve grade, he always has and Simpkin was doing well there too. Jacob will get another run in firsts by seasons end.

Whilst not in top 3 I thought Alex S was again excellent today. Everywhere in defence and is starting to make dents with his runs.

I thought our forwards were all very good defensively. Six missed tackles between them.

He has all the skills to be a good second rower, he just hasn't been able to do them all at once and consistently over a game. His biggest issue is checking in and out of games. He can hit hard in his tackles.
