HM to HM: I've been a harsh critic of Heath Mason, but coming on at 7 I think he did really well.

On that, feels like Latu just can't catch a break this year. This was the perfect chance for him to have a go at 7, but the one week he wasn't in the side....

3 J Luai - thought he was strong in defence and added a lot in attack. The loss of Madden was huge, as he gives Luai the space and shapes we need. We need either Doueihi or Madden to be fit next week otherwise we're up the creek again.
2 T May - absolute workhorse. Doesn't get full points from me because he killed a couple of sets when we had all the momentum. After a line break and we're steamrolling them, just tuck it under your arm and RUN IT STRAIGHT G!
1 J Bula - one of the best in the game under the high ball. Bostock is a weapon and he defused so many dangerous bombs. Unlucky not to bag a try or two.
