iv been reading around that next year since both moltzen and mckinnon are leaving, that benji may be our fullback. and if so then who will be our 5"8 ? iv been thinking since we have just bought joel reddy that he may replace ayshford in the centres and ayshford may play 5"8 as he can play the position very well. but id like to see maybe robbie given a go in the number 6 jersey he is very good at putting players through gaps when he is at second receiver but i really have no idea what is going to happen i mean even mitch brown who is mostly known as a fill in or utility player may be given the full time number 1 jersey

anyone got any other theorys ?

i should say, i cant see him moving in the next year or 2\. what i think might happen is - Ayshford to the forwards or utility bench and little Sirro Jnr. blooded into NRL in the centres. (i just cant see sheens moving benji, already a proven superstar only in his mid 20's just to bring in another kid that could be up there with the best one day, kind of doesnt make sense…..but then again this is Mr 600, Coach Sheens, so who reallly knows what goes on under that baseball cap??) After a bit of experience he may move from the backs to the playmakers ala Daley, Lockyer and Co. I doubt Lui will be in the future plans after 2012, so maybe we will see all sorts of combos between Benji, Sirro, Miller from 2013.

What, we are going to move the best 5/8 in the game to fullback because we need to fill that position?

Galloway is going to be 5/8, Benji moving to AFL.

What do they say? Ask a stupid question…...

Is it really necessary to butcher someone on their first post? It has been discussed in the media so it's not as if the OP dreamed up the idea.

If it were to happen, although unlikely, I would imagine Sirro junior would possibly get a run.

Marshall would be made to look stupid at fullback, he will remain in the halves and someone else surely is in mind for the number 1.

Perhaps Lawrence as we have signed Reddy and are chasing that other union centre.

Lote ? Tedesco? anyone but Marshall.

I'd leave him at 5/8th and be pumping Mitch Brown hard to learn support play, and to play with confidence.

He has every other aspect of being a quality fullback, (fast, good hands, solid defense) he's just not a very attacking one.

Back yourself Mitch!!

If Brown is leaving as he is not on contract for next year as far as I know, then someone else must come through. Mullaney is apparently on the outer, and I'd be thinking that Tedesco despite his form in u/20's is still too young.

Although to leave ourselves fairly skinny in the Fullback role, the Tigers methinks must be looking at buying a half decent fullback…

Didn't realize it was the first post.

Sirro or Fitzhenry.

we should know with our club ,, where theres smoke theres fire …....somebody that matters is thinking about the move and with sirro and miller on the way up who knows what could happen ...imo benji would kill them from fullback ,, he would come into the line whenever he wanted .....

we should clone him in the offseason and play at 1 and 6! I reckon benji would be a sensation at fullback, but he is already great at 6, so why bother moving him.

Hell no. When has Ayshford played five eighth really well in first grade? I would rather them leave Ayshford at right centre, Benji at five eighth, Farah at dummy half. Reddy could play right wing. Brown could be fullback.

The problem with Marshall at fullback is I don't think he would be really good at defending against kicks.
