5 Minute Sin Bin

What do you think about the idea of introducing a 5 minute sin bin?

I'm sick of seeing guys knocking players out of the game with illegal shots, and the affected team being the ones who suffer. For shots like Teo on Groat, Inglis on Young etc, both the Tigers and Dragons received no benefit other than a penalty. They actually get affected the same, if not more, than the other team. For example, Groat was out for 1-2 weeks, plus we played with 16 rest of that game. Teo received two weeks.

I would like to see a 5-minute sin bin for such incidences so that the affected teams get some sort of compensation as I don't believe a penalty is enough.

When the sin bin was indroduced there were 5 and 10 minute sin bins but cant remember the last time somebody got 5 in the bin and cant remember if they ever said 5 minute sin bin dont exist anymore

I think this is a great idea, and players placed on report twice in one game should spend some time in the bin too!

Yeah what happened to the 5er?

Was it erradicated or just not used anymore?
