Quality young Wests Tigers centre Blake Ayshford will play his 50th game in the NRL when he lines up against St George Illawarra Dragons on Sunday, May 22, at WIN Jubilee Oval.
The milestone comes a week after the 23-year-old re-signed for a further three seasons with Wests Tigers. The new deal sees Ayshford at Wests Tigers until the end of the 2015 season.
After representing Australia in the Junior Kangaroos side of 2007, Ayshford rose through the Wests Tigers U20s ranks before making his NRL debut against the Brisbane Broncos at Campbelltown Sports Stadium in round 11 of the 2009 season.
A former Wests Tigers Rookie of the Year, Ayshford has played 49 first grade games and has scored 19 tries. He is now a regular starting centre under Head Coach Tim Sheens.
Congratulations Blake on reaching 50 NRL games.
