6 and 7 combo

Without doubt the best I have seen these to combine in there short career. I have seen them individually go well but never as a combo.

I would also say that is the best 80 minutes Brooks has put in for us, defended well, ran and passed with confidence and seemed not be rushed. Moses was great but he has had a pretty good year compared to Brooks. Anyway lets hope this play continues for years to come.

Just a foot note..ET has taken so much pressure off these kids is probably the reason they are getting better

yep, never seen them combine like this before.

on a negative note, as brilliant as they were, the set after we scored the second try- the 5th tackle was made at about 15m. Moses with a rush of blood, grubbers through for himself and it goes over the dead ball line. A JT, Cronk, smith etc. would've made sure we got the repeat set from that position.

a great game from both. very proud.

Yep, definitely the best I've seen them combine, looked to be reading each other a lot better and actually started to look like the combination we'd all been hoping for. Yeah agree ET has made a big difference there too. They just looked a lot more confident, even in defence. Hopefully they can keep building on that.

It's no secret I'm not the biggest Brooks fan but just as I point out poor performances (and it's been pretty easy to) I like to acknowledge good ones. Brooks had one of his best games tonight, he ran the ball!!!
He didn't sit back and wait for it to be handed to him on a plate, he got more involved and took control.
Hopefully tonight was a turning point and a sign of things to come.

They played well.

Moses kick was unfortunate and everyone is allowed an error.
JT, CROCK and Smith are 30+ and Moses is 21 - you need to cut him a little slack.

Johns reckons he was 26 before he was absolutely confident to lead a team around. I think we need to allow him time to improve, he has made enormous progress this year and will continue but it won't happen overnight and he has not played as many NRL games as Brooks.

Outplayed two Origin players tonight….

The return of Tedesco makes a hell of a difference as well...

Brooks and Moses need to keep building...I like Brooks going both sides of the Ruck and taking on the line...made some tough runs when nothing was on...

Our kick chase still needs to be better...

I think ET has made a MASSIVE difference with these 2 this season. Whoever signed him needs a massive pat on the back.
Let's make sure we sign him up for the next 3 years quick so another one of our stars isn't poached by the bigger clubs. I can really see this happening quick if we don't act soon

hell yes. Elijah gives them so much time.

These two had a great game together tonight.
The offloads coupled with the ballplaying of Farah, Elijah and Ted meant they were heavily involved.

to be fair, theyve got 10 years and 250+ games on him to learn that

yup, happy with both - but my opinion is unchanged. that is, they are both good players with a pack that rolls forward

hopefully they continue to mature over the years and hit some strong consistent form next season (or hey, starting from today would also be good  )

Yes, I agree with the observation about Moses's poor kick. It was just when we were piling on the pressure again and this has been a major weakness in his game all year. However, positives when positives are due and I commented at the time that the halves were really combining well and, for the first time looked like the legitimate twin organizers we all hoped for. Brooks wasn't mistake free but he played an excellent game with incisive running, excellent flat passes and some strong defense whereas Moses seems to be judging when to run or pass much better than previously.

I have to agree with the last line. I was at the game and the KC was very average especially by the middle third. They were at least 10m behind the edges meaning the return runners found easy space. It's basic stuff to maintain your line and show enthusiasm in the chase.

Been saying for 12 months these guys need 2nd phase play. Tonight proved what it can do for them.

Forwards running hard, quick play the balls and offoads is the way to change rugby league again away from the boring structure that has taken over the game.

You would hope we have some sort of option on his services because the cheque book clubs must be circling after what he has been producing since arriving at Concord. From where I sit he offers ten times more than Martin Kapow to our team, granted he is a completely different player. Anyway lets hope Pascoe get him signed up quick smart

100% correct.

They were great and they will get better alright. Every game we have won they have both made significant contributions and the ones we have lost have been when we have been dominated in the forwards and forced them to make errors. Moses defence last night was great saved a certain try at the 14 min mark and had a real go at GI . They have room for plenty of growth and the kicking games of all halves will be subject to off nights - ie Adam Reynolds last night - but these two are footballers through and through .
