A Famous Sheens Quote

Dont judge us now, judge us at the end of the season

Its now judgement day Mr Sheens and the verdict is not good. You delivered basically six months of rubbish, get on your bike and do us all a favor and ride off into the sunset.

I thought it was going to be,
"but let's not use that as an excuse, we wernt good enough on the day".

Usually led by we've had some injuries or the bounce of the ball didn't go our way etc.

If he had any decency at all, he would resign effective immediately.

It would be the right thing to do…....but 'ego' and 'the right thing' arent mutually exclusive

Funniest thing about it is that when I was listening to 2GB on the way out they were interviewing Marshall and Galloway post match, and they both said we came up short, and that injuries were part of every teams season and they aren't the reason we failed.

If two of our senior players can admit we were simply terrible this season, how is it that the coach cannot?

Well said Bogan I thought exactly the same as I heard Marshall and in particular Galloway say 'we don't deserve to be in the semis'. Besides the fact Sheens will not admit fault he is stale and cannot lift the players or get the best out of them. Thanks for all you've done Tim but please do the right thing and leave the nest before it gets worse next year!

I believe most people take the realistic approach of considering a season making the playoffs a successful one, considering only one team wins the comp and there are always more than one decent team in the comp lol.

Or you can look at it the other way that this is the 7th time he's missed the playoffs in his tenure. Unheard of that he could still keep his job when he's missed the finals 7 yrs out of 10, premiership or no premiership

I wasn't defending him GNR. I was suggesting that we haven't gone 7 years without success. Because the last two years were definitely successes. Anyone who supported Balmain and Wests through the nineties would be thrilled with just making the playoffs.
