Although my roots are with the Balmain Tigers, I see the club as a joint venture between two great traditional clubs and Iam more than happy that they Share the Black and Gold strip around. I know people will throw the argument that the dragons are a joint venture and yet they always use their traditional strip for promotional duties, I regard them as a takeover rather than a joint venture.

TBH I don't mind wearing the alternate strips… and I think in all Media coverage we should be seen in the Orange strip for the very reasons you have Frazer4Wests....

I hate our current jerseys. So plain and boring. Doesn't reflect our club at all. We dont stand out and hardly recognisable.

Creagus's designs from a couple of months back were fantastic. Represented the club well and incorporated all the club's colours.

I really like the Heritage jerseys this year -



And even the training shirt I dont mind as a jersey … with a few tweaks

If they were having rhyming issues back over 100 years ago, they could've easily rearranged the words to:

I was a Balmain fan. But can I just say there is an animal out there called a Siberian Tiger which is white with black stripes. What is wrong with using just black and white? I for one would be happy to run with a black and white combination of alternate and home strips if it meant we dropped the magpie off the shoulder. Thoughts?

I like the orange (or gold whatever it is) and not simply because I am ex-Balmain. Aesthetically it adds a lot.

I absolutely HATE the dominant white jerseys and once again it comes down to aesthetics not because I am ex-Balmain - it looks crap. It looked terrible when the Magpies used it and still looks terrible now.

I would go with a dominant orange jersey and a dominant black jersey as alternates with some _limited_ white in each.

I like how the original poster has the WHITE jerseys in his avatar while claiming we should have the Orange/Gold jerseys lol

However his point about promotional shoots is a valid one, not sure i totally agree, but its a valid point.

As far as playing goes, i love the old Magpies jerseys, black with white V, i think they look great, and im a Balmain boy.

Yes i do have the white jersey in my avatar,the reason is it is a photo of me and my son.

I have the black,gold(orange) and white jerseys and i do not have a preferance.

The only points i was trying to make was i feel the gold(orange ) jersey is better for photo ops and the magpie should stay on the shoulder.

If this make me "small minded" well so be it.
