A 'should win' game for us

The Dogs played pretty well over the weekend. They didn't play for the full 80, but they can turn it on when they want and they will be out to make amends for last weekends loss. Don't forget, they put 60 on the Rorters.
This will be a really tough game for us. Battered, bruised and tired from the Cowboys match, new halves combination, Payten out…

So looking forward to Friday. I have the day off so can get to the ground early with the family, get a decent park watch the U20's and the FT hopefully get the double.

What a night it will be.

They didn't play well, if you lose to NZ Warriors at home you've got a problem

Lol, pity i'm away otherwise I'd be first man at the ground!

the dogs will be looking for their only second win of the season - but we dismantled them easily the last time we played them. i think this a type of match where Sheens doesnt need to motivate the players - its a self motivating game because the bulldogs matches are always big.

Dogs were good in patches - their defence lets them down at times and they lack overall cohesion but don't dismiss them because they lost to the Warriors. Warriors are a dark horse this year and will win a lot of away games. I will not be surprised to see them in the top 4 come round 26\. They were one game from the GF in 08, but the wheel fell off big time last year. I reckon they are one of the teams to watch. And, don't forget the Dogs put 60 over the Roosters a few weeks back.

Edited to add: I still think we will beat them :wahoo:

Yeah there's some important factors that will make it a challenge.

2 bruising wins that took a toll injury wise, short turnaround, new HB to find their feet - and against a team we will be expected to beat on paper.

Not conditions that instill me with alot of confidence, given our history.

But we are a different team this year, and thats not blind faith. A tougher attitude is what the past 3 rounds have demonstrated. Consistency in attitdue is what a win this round will represent.

With the possible exception of playing away to the Storm and Dragons… They are all 'Should Win' games.

Every player, from 1 to 17, must have ticker, and strike power. If the best team is selected, we will flog them.

If WT pick a couple of token passengers and coach favourites, we will be doing ourselves a great diservice.

Are you saying if Brown and Fitzhenry are picked we can't win….like against Parra, Raiders, Cows......

Sheens selecting the wrong team week after week yet the wins are still getting racked up....I don't get it....

Seems there was a lot of ticker showed against the Cows with 15 men.....
