A Team Of Internationals

There is every chance next year that our starting 13 will contain 8 internationals, and in our forwards 5 of the six could be internationals :

Tuqiri
Lawrence
Marshall
Heighno ( if picked for England )
Ellis
Blair
Farah
Galloway ( must be a solid chance to be picked for Australia )

A nice position to be in but one that really demands success.

Could be 9, Woods is still in the running for the 4 nations trip.

I know he is in the train on squad but i didn't give him a realistic chance - hope i'm wrong - he will feel out of place being the only non international in the starting pack

8 internationals and none who qualify selected for NSW…

I know where your coming from TT but of the 8 only Lawrence, Heighinton,Farah and KG qualify - of those Lawrence was a certainty but missed out due to injury, Heighno has a tonne of back rowers against him and isn't an international yet anyway, Farah - well we all know that saga but he has played for NSW as has KG who would have been called last year except for injury.

the andes plane crash with the south american rugby union team -plane crashed - left to die - no search crews because of visibility in the freezing mountain ranges - there were no internationals in their team - but they overcame the weather, ate each other, and survived to tell the story - because of team spirit. Now do you understand American History X's version of a wests tigers supporter. each to their own. If you get a chance over this summer, the film is called ALIVE - and just like my signature - "they overcame the impossible by doing the unthinkable". Thats my wests Tigers". Thats a little about me. Team of internationals?Well, if it makes you feel good then run with it. Its just another side to our story. The history books will record, rest assured.

Yes its the old theme of a team of stars Vs a star team - my original point is with that many internationals and the experience that comes with that then we shouldn't accept mediocrity in our results.

there is also alot of luck involved in winning a comp.

2005 we had it, 2010 and 2011, we had at least equally good teams, things didn't quite go for us, that is footy.
