- Sooner rather than Later….

Dogs fans are going spastic - They need some good news.

The good news won't be the announcement of Woods, that's for sure. They are spewing with him.

Unless, God forbid, Woods turns into a world beater at the dogs.

Doubt it. What you see with him is what you get. He'll always be a meter eater with no aggression.

I feel like at this point if Woods and Tedesco do re-sign with us it'll be a bitter sweet pill.

I've heard from some big wigs at Balmain Woods is happy to renogotiate with us… Wants to stay now

But would you have thought the same about Blair before he went to the Broncos? I for one hope that Woods remains at his average best, but you'll always wonder what will happen…

I can completely understand everyone's criticism of Woods through this whole saga, but geez, to call him an average player is totally unreasonable. Love him or hate him he is one of the premier props in the game.

We should be calling him Francesco, Francesco Schettino.

As I said, not defending his captaincy or the way he's handled himself through this whole period - it's been ordinary. But he's a great player.

His main contribution is looking good in a bad pack. Yes he has had some highlight reel moments, but gee he goes missing a lot for a captain

Blair hasn't been anything special for the Broncos since he left IMO. Pretty average, great at hitting late and pressuring kickers but still runs around like a headless chook and commits as many errors as he does positive things.
Woods is a good player, better than average hence his selections for Origin and Test matches. Don't have a problem with what he has done for us on the field, just in the media he comes across as very indecisive and dictated to heavily by his clueless manager.

No offence, I didn't know you had your finger on the pulse at Balmain?

My apologies for the vague description - I was referring to Woods as a "whole player". As he is captain he is average. Probably the worst captain in the comp IMO. He's had a good stint over the years and yes at one point was arguably the best prop in the game but right now he is nothing more than an average captain of the Wests Tigers.

He is still one of our best players without a doubt. NSW and Test player, to be fair he is more than just "average WT captain".
Wonder how he got the captaincy, whether it was wholly by choice or whether it was basically forced upon him?

I hate the way he continues to treat the fans who supported him like a bunch of nobodies. The club made him what he is and the fans deserve better. What a piece of work he is. Pretty disgusting really. His attitude stinks.

I think after the Farah drama and the PR disaster that was, they needed someone who the fans would love. He fit the bill with the hair and beard, and the no stuffs to give attitude. Plus all the 2040 crap. His appointment was purely for image reasons.

Hmm that and he's the only Wests Tiger who currently plays in the Australian side, and been part of the NSW Origin side for 4 campaigns.

Recent bullcrap aside, i would be very happy if woodsy decided to stay.

Yeah take the captaincy off him, but he makes more meters than anybody else in the club, and has some nice footwork at the line. I don't think we have had a better front-rower wear our colours since the JV commenced.

If someone, somehow, can get some aggression into his game, he would be phenomenal.

Without doubt he is the best prop we have had since the merger. His captaincy leaves a lot to be desired but there is no better prop in the game imo.
