He ruined his career by leaving the Tigers and became a footballer that no rugby league follower is a fan of.
If he’d of played out his crappy career here he would’ve at least been admired as a one club player like Hindy. But no he left and then has taken little pot shots at us through out his career and finished a complete looser. Suck it Dora. No one cares if you’re playing or not, good riddance.

Shit the bed by walking out on his junior club he was entrusted to captain because he got honeydicked by FOMO watching his mates leave. Could have been a one club legend, likely wouldn't have tanked his career, bottled his representative opportunities and become known as the bloke who had more clubs than a deck of cards.

He retired because he probably wasn't offered another reserve contract by Manly. Can sit at home and haff a feed wif da missus into eternity now.

There’s a Richie line from The 12th Man when he’s talking to Max Walker about Max being in competition with Ken Sutcliffe for a spot on the commentary team, and he says “The selectors are weighing up Ken’s appeal with the female viewers to your appeal with the yobbos and dickheads”. I feel the latter are the ones who would find Woods in any way entertaining

Appealing to the yobbos and dickheads means he has about 80% of the rugby league market cornered.
