He was too immature for the captaincy at tigers at the time. He had no support. Unlike the others he had a dig in 2017…..our best player by far. I would have him back.
 
IMO he would need to take a 60% pay cut like Hayne did to return to Parra. 360k a year and that would prove he wants to be at Wests.

He was never the sort of prop that would tear opposition forwards apart, But he did his job in defence and made plenty of ground with the ball.
A Taupau type , was needed with him
When Taupau was here ,Woodsie was free to do what he was good at, but after he left we had no mad prop, and he was left with bugger all back up from our packfrom then on.

It looks to me, and it’s just my opinion, that he is only semi interested. I hope he’s back in black gold and white before June 30\. …......... with Curtis and Marty and Ben. Could be a game changer ?
 
I don't believe we could afford to invest more money into our front row. We have great depth now and Twal plus Eisenhuth do a great job for us at much less $. Woods will end up at the Roosters imo,
 
A mate of mine spoke to him at Bulldogs members meet the players night in Brisbane last Wednesday and asked him how he was feeling about the Tigers starting the season so well.
Said his response was he was really happy for all the "boys" and that they're all great fellas and he's happy to see them and the club going so well.
 
It would be like taking your girlfriend back after she's slept around. Might be temping cos she's pretty hot but you gotta have some pride and move on.
