Acid test for the new 'tough' judiciary

Tepai Moeroa today in the Eels vs Raiders game pulled off a crusher tackle that looked at first glance to be every bit as bad as Simona's (probably worse considering he left his feet which is supposed to be the big no-no when it comes to ruling on these type of tackles).
He wasn't even put on report or penalized which probably goes to show it will go unpunished.
Interesting how WT players are treated very differently than other clubs' players when it comes to punishment.
Will the new 'tough' MRC panel have the balls to haul Moeroa up for his tackle?? I doubt it. So effectively the new big tough stance from last week lasted just 1 week.

Yeah I'm pretty sure that was the incident Ink, but 'accident' or not it looked equally as bad as Simona's from the quick look I got of the incident.
Plenty of 'accidents' have copped suspensions in the past and rightly so. Most high tackles are accidents but that is cold comfort for a bloke with a busted jaw etc because of it.
Will have to check the replay when it comes on though.

It was very very different to Simonas, Meoroa was third into the tackle & Vaughan was flung around into Maorea who landed on him and doubled him over
