Well that's the point of my post. Without an alternative action that is legal, you basically have no choice but to let go.

That is the NRL solution...I'm saying if they want to police these rules, they need to consult experts to provide the legal alternative to players and coaches.

Agreed, to me it looked like Holmes had dived to Paps and lost his feet prior to gripping around the waste. Deardon looked similar and barely any mention of him. Otherwise Paps scores a try.

I believe we get treated with blatant double standards consistently. All the calls that go our way are when the game is already over from either the score line or severe fatigue by the momentum shifting calls against us.

If you were to tally up all the bad calls we receive I can’t understand how you could justify the NRL doesn’t have it in for Wests!

Interesting to listen to the fox commentators in the immediate aftermath of the Holmes tackle on Papalii .The immediate concern appeared to be that this was a SOO player and they stated then and there that Deardon had contributed and were trying to clear Val right off the bat .Little concern was expressed for Papalii !
Similarly I can only assume Crichton did not get suspended for a trip as he was a SOO rep .
We are our own worst enemy but not our only enemy !!

So Seizer gets 4 weeks for his so called dangerous tackle which hurt no one, seems over the top when you compare it to other fouls! He is a half back trying to tackle on a second rower.

Sualli gets 4 weeks for a shoulder charge to the head and taking someone out for the game.

Zach Lomax... Yeah righto, Lomax looked like he was running to where the ball would land at a jumping trajectory which would take out our players legs. Can you honestly say if a Tiger took out a player exactly the same way he would have been sent to the Bin and coped a suspension?
