For mine, AD is not five-eighth material. He's just too lanky and slow.

We need someone faster and agile who can find the gaps between tired forwards, get outside of defenders and create overlaps.

They're forum whipping boys, but give me Reynolds or Mbye at five-eigth any day of the week.

I don’t think he cares. He’s getting his superannuation from us. $2million over 3years. He will never have to work again.

Benji was the fly in the ointment. His attack was good but defensively a liability but that been his problem through this career.
Remember Sheens used to hide him on the wing.

I hope not. I hope we just pick the best players in their position based on performance, not what their salaries are.

Why would the club push next year and not this year. Last year of a contract is really up to the player to push. We owe them no favours

AD’s break out game at five eighth reminded me of Wighton too. I think his pace was hampered by injury early last year. He showed better speed towards the end of the year. Hopefully his speed continues to improve. I’m keen to see him in the role and am hoping he makes it his own.

Benji ran too much at the line and really killed any good ball to the centre’s. AD has a great long pass on him , and with strike power in the centres next year , get them early ball and we will look great.

I remember watching AD throw a left to right pass in a game. My eyes nearly popped out of my head. It was a bullet and went a good 15m. He has the skills to be a good 5/8. We will see.

I can tell you that's exactly his attitude...he was told mid last year he is not in the WT plans, the club has done everything it can to find him another club, no other NRL club is even remotely interested in him only 2 SL clubs but he does not want to move...Enjoy playing for Group 8 in 2022 Josh!
