Adam Blair

No thanks. Can't see we would want him or why he would want to come here. Given his history with the club and the way he performed and the team performed when he was here, I just don't see this as a good idea. I understand though that Cleary wasn't here then and probably isn't being influenced by that.

Why do people say "Yes and no" without qualification?

If Adam Blair came to us for 80K, I would say Yeeess
If he came for 500K I would say NO way.

Whatever he did, his form, his style did not suit our team. I think some forwards work better as a lone gun i.e. Hindmarsh, Fulton, etc. While others like being in a big pack going forward, i.e. Blair, Brett White, etc. Blair was used to playing a "no mistakes" game. A game where he does his bit and keeps his side of the field up so that Cam Smith and co can slaughter the other side. He comes here and it's a "go for it", he's lost.

Personally I would say NO, unless the money is really good. Yes he is a great impact, big hitter of a player, but I don't think he is what we need. He is too low energy and focused to his structured teams…. Yet if he is coming cheap...Yeeeesssss

Please no bad taste in my mouth with his last effort here, lets build a new culture not bring back bad memories :bash

Pascoe tweeted not true.

I tweeted Justin', just had to make sure it wasn't true, what a fraud of a player, would have been a huge setback. I replied and asked him about Rona , see if he answers again, didn't think he respond in the first place.

He has replied again to my question of whether Rona had missed the bus?. His reply was "the bus is not full yet!". Still could he a chance. Glad he has taken the time to respond,

Well done to get a response and good on him for answering.

I couldn't stand Blair at the Tigers but watching him lately at the Broncos he looks a completely different player. He is working really hard in both attack and defence and his offloads, although sometimes astray, can be very effective. You have to ask yourself why was the guy such a dud with us yet such a strong player elsewhere - and he's not the only player that has been like that.

Blairs stats this year are less than impressive.

1 Line break all year
AVG 94 metres a game
AVG 29.3 tackles a game
AVG 1.1 offloads a game

He wouldn't really add any spark to our team and will be 32 next year. You could get someone from ISP to punch out these numbers…

AVG TOTAL
Played 23 23
Tries 0 1
Goals 0 0
Field Goals 0 0
All Runs 10.7 247
All Run Metres 94 2162
Line Breaks 0 1
Try Assists 0 1
Hit-ups 8.5 196
Off-loads 1.1 26
Tackles 29.3 673
Missed Tackles 1.1 26
Errors 0.2 4
