OFFICIAL Adam Doueihi #227

Douehi was one of our better players yesterday ....but then again we probably only had 3 players yesterday that deserved getting paid

Stefano was heads and shoulders ahead of anyone else

He doesn’t work well with Brooks. I still believe he’s our best player, needs to be kept in the 6 instead of shuffling him around.

Hopefully it’s not a long term injury.

:grinning:

Are you trying to take the mickey? That is what people have been saying about Brooks. It is not his fault he looks like garbage, it is the chemistry with the bloke next to him.

There is a reason uncle Wayne moves this bloke & Corey Allan on. They were not worth the money they were on/asking.

Another panic buy up there with Reynolds & Mbye.

One thing Doueihi could do while he is in Brisbane is get Toni Carroll's telephone number and organise one on one defence tuition with him. Why not organise him to instruct the whole team.

When was Brooks shuffled in and out of the halves? You’re talking rubbish.

AD had a poor first half, lacked energy and enthusiasm. Lay in the ground every time he made a tackle and ran the ball with no intent. He fired up for 15 minutes in the second half and that was it, much like a few others that showed some intent when we had already lost.

Douhie is like mbye as in he is a jack of all trades and master of none
Not quite a first grade fullback
Not quite a first grade centre
Not quiet a first grade number 6

You’re half right. Unlike Mbye who struggles, Doueihi is one of the best players at the club and has to be there somewhere.

Tough one for Adam but he still looked our most likely to create anything out there. Ridiculous that his try was overturned. Stick with him in the halves, he's got a hot back next to him that has no idea how to run a team and he's not even played a season at 6

Downvote me all you want but imagine being a young 5/8 trying to learn your position and your experienced halfback is absolutely no help to you at all. Wouldn't be easy!

Yes it’s Luke’s fault that Adam is slow

Huh? When did I say anything about Adam being slow or that being Brooks fault?

Mate you blame Brooks for everything.

I’m still waiting for Luke’s connection to the lab in Wuhan

I'm not blaming brooks for anything. I'm saying it would be harder for Doueihi not having a game managing halfback next to him when he's still learning his trade, which is completely true. Not sure what you're readying bud

Remember a few weeks back and Mbye played 5/8 ? Brooks played far better than he has since...there is a point in there and if you understand the game it stands out like dogsballs ....Brooks cant control and needs a player with experience next to him....Hastings will fix the problem....we cant do any worse...even if Brooks goes AD will benefit greatly....

I definitely think Hastings will be in our halves somewhere.

If he is, it will be at Doueihi’s expense, not Brooks. But let the Brooks bashers cling to some hope.

It’s all we have … hope

Rebellions are built on hope...

You’re half right. Unlike Mbye who struggles, Doueihi is one of the best players at the club and has to be there somewhere.

But he wouldn’t make the starting storm side ..
that’s how far behind we are

Would spend a lot of time being sent back to reserve grade to work on his defence

Agree with Stephano, but Doueihi was nowhere to be seen in the first half. Much better in the 2nd half.

I think that he was most likely carrying an injury throughout the match.

Maybe a future no.13. He is certainly big enough and good ball skills. Might not get beaten in defence so easily in the middle. He can tackle, just not out in the open.

maybe a ball playing 13 if he improves the defence
