OFFICIAL Adam Doueihi #227

[Coastie_Tiger]

I wouldn't have extended him there's too much risk there and he predominantly plays a position we are stacked in. Unless there's some moving pieces we aren't aware of it makes little sense, could we shift him to centre? Perhaps so why wouldn't we wait and see how he goes there, he'd hardly have suiters knocking down his door.
This is more an old management decision, although apparently Richo does love him i dunno premature if you ask me.

[The Fresh Oil]

well that kinda makes you think they are struggling to replace the roster spots for 25.

[WestsEffTheRest]

What a rubbish signing. Cracks me up every time someone says this pea heart is a great leader. Api when he got asked to move to 7 said "It's what the team needed" AD when asked to play centre said to play him in reserve grade. That's the difference between leaders.

[AmericanHistoryX]

I like the part where you get cracked up... I appreciate you have happy moments in your life... bigger than the game...

[BlackWhiteGold]

centre back up half back/58. mate I know a lot of people will shoot me down for this but of Adam went out and had the best preseason of his life he could partner jarome in the half’s he has the skill to do it

Obviously needs to work on his defence and pass selection but he has all the attributes to do worst comes to worse and he’s a back up half or centre on a small 1 year contract

I'm thinking he'll be used as a utility off the bench next season given he could probably cover halves, lock, centre, fullback, dummy half & even backrow if required.

But reckon there maybe an evolution happening this season where he is eased back in the halves & then as he builds match fitness, be tried as a lock! Watch out!

[Strider]

Good news.

Prediction - Naden costs us a bunch of points gainst Raiders and AD takes his spot next game.

[Yossarian]

Hopefully he does a job while Luai is on rep duty next season...

both naden and AD defend as bad as each other !

[Jedi_Tiger]

it will be a strong Magpies nsw cup side for 2025
3 naden
6. AD
7 Sullivan

[Spartan117]

strange decision, trying to keep sezer for another year would have been the smarter move
suspecting sezer to move on given this signing.

Why can't we have Both??

AD and Sezar

Latu should be the priority above all of these blokes.

May as well just fill the rest of the top 30 with positions we don't need then.

I dont mind a ball playing centre.

Seems like lots of people personally know him here, and what he thinks.

centre in nsw cup lol

[king_sirro]

If he gets through the rest of this year then it's a smart re-signing at close to minimum wage. Someone who can cover so many spots at a low wage is a valuable squad member. Remember, while his last stint in the NRL was overall his worst ever form, his last NRL game he was the best player on the field until he got injured.

So ill reserve judgement until the end of the year. If he does his knee again it's a bad signing, if he is fit then it's smart.

[Pascoes_barber]

For an (assumed) fairly low dollar contract this is a no brainer.

I'm on record here as not being a huge fan, but he is first grade standard and can fill a utility role; we are still desperately lacking this level of player across the 17 selected week in week out.

[Lebanese_Coach_aspiration]

Say what you want about @Lebanese_Coach_aspiration but I did tell you all this last week that he had an offer of 200 but wasnt happy but I told his cousin to tell him to take it. I believe they settled on 225 and the versatility is what got the deal done. He can thank the doggs success here where we have seen the power of the utility value.
Does this mean we hveone spot left since Fainu will be resigned?

This what concerns me.
